Core Keeper is a premium adventure game for PC developed by Pugstorm. It's a dungeon crawler sandbox title in which players will explore a mysterious cavern as they search for treasure and an ancient relic. Along the way, they will face and battle against all kinds of creatures and monsters.

Core Keeper has a similar look and presentation to Moonlighter. Both offer action-adventure experiences featuring charming pixel graphics mixed with survival elements. Furthermore, players can craft various tools, gather resources, and construct their bases. This feature adds depth to the gameplay and builds a sense of creativity and strategic thinking.

Unraveling mysteries in the depths

Core Keeper is essentially an isometric action-adventure with survival elements to it. In it, you play an explorer who awakens in a dark, mysterious cavern filled with deadly creatures, treasure, and bountiful resources. To survive, you will need to venture forth and dig your way through this seemingly endless labyrinth and scavenge for supplies and other essential tools and equipment that you'll need.

As you gain more resources, you can start building a base to serve as your shelter and place of operations. Expand your territory and create various structures to support research, crafting, and other activities with the use of a core. This is where the game gets its name, as you'll need to constantly power up your core to unlock its hidden potential and mysteries.

During combat encounters, you’ll confront various enemies, each posing a threat that must be overcome to ensure survival. From formidable mini-bosses to menacing monsters, the battlefield constantly challenges your skills at every turn. Additionally, this game features an online co-op sandbox mode with up to eight players. However, the continuous dungeon-crawling structure could result in repetitive gameplay cycles, which might diminish sustained interest over time.
